MARCOS LM600 GT2

CHASSIS NO...

ENGINE, ALI CHEVY V8 6.0lt 550-600 bhp

YEAR 1999

Car was built over the winter of 98/98 by Graham Nash Motorsport. It was built onto the last of the 4 chassis developed for the 1995 Le Mans. This car benefited from the previous year experience and gained a few upgrades including; aerodynamics, suspension and most important an XTRAC 6 speed sequential gearbox. (25k new!)

The car had a lot of success in the hands of Tommy Eurdos (Brazilian GT Master) and Andy Purvis in the British GT Championship during 99/00/01. The car was then outclassed by more modern equipment. The GT2 class was then dropped by the British GT champs, but now with the upsurge of interest in the Britcar Championship it has a British championship it can enter. (Subject to championship regs)

This car is a well known and loved bruit; the noise from that engine can be recognised from miles away. In the right hands could again be a winner on British tracks.
